Berry Blast Smoothie

I love having a smoothie every day. It’s a great way to get in several servings of fruits and veggies. I like to add in all sorts of superfoods to experiment but they are not necessary, at all. In fact, this recipe is one of my favorites and it has only 4 ingredients. Enjoy all the fiber, nutrients, and antioxidants that this smoothie has to offer. It is tasty and refreshing and perfect for the summer months that are upon us!

1 large handful of spinach

1 cup plant-based milk or water

1 banana

1 cup frozen mixed berries

Add all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Note:
Add more or less liquid depending on the consistency you prefer.

Bland greens with liquid prior to adding the fruit if you are not using a high-speed blender, such as a Vitamix.

Optional add-ins: Chia and flax seeds which are high in essential fatty acids, fiber, and protein.
